Partition wouldn't go anywhere on pop. Rhythmic/Urban yeah, maybe.
Blow should go to Top 40 next.
Honestly, there's not much left FOR Top 40. Mine, Partition, etc. are all great but not really going to grab a huge audience. She can sell a lot of albums on those formats though, so she doesn't necessarily need Top 40 anyway.
Partition should be the next single. It's risky, but so is this whole era, I don't care if it flops as long as she keeps selling album. It's already doing great, I see it being one of her future classics. It's already doing great on youtube, so many people dancing to it, it could go viral.
I wonder what is on Beyoncé & her label minds. is she gonna push XO? release Partition? release Blow?
I don't think XO is a sleeper hit. its airplay updates are too negative. at least if it kept having near 0 updates I would have believed it was a sleeper hit. I don't see it rebound (radio-wise). She should perform it at Brits nonetheless for the album sales need.
with Happy smashing it would be great to release Blow but Partition is so eager to slay a bit even if it won't exceed 80 Al which is not bad. streaming points is playing a much bigger role for it.
