She's independent in the states right now, I doubt Universal will distribute her stuff stateside, just because she's signed with a sub-group in Japan, not to mention with only mediocre success.
I like the song, although both the video and the song scream low-budget production, which wouldn't be a problem if only there would be at least an ounce of hype surrounding her breakthrough attempt in the US. I'd classify it as a cute punk-pop infused R&B song with very good vocals from Kuri, she sounds really confident. I agree that most songs on Vivid would've stood better chances, just think about Be Mine or Yo-Yo for instance.
