I'd like to note that the site owner made this as a discussion board for pop music/culture, not an internet playground that he has to finance; whether it's the on the internet or not does not always dictate behavior.

Either way I doubt he (currently) intends to finance a site that's not respectable enough to be worth it.

That's kind of what us mods and our CRAZY and WACKY "don't say retarded and don't be dillholes in general" policies are for!

ATRL is quite well known in the pop music fan world though. Perhaps it's not currently all that "respectable", but it is more so than it once was in all honesty. I think it's important that we keep moving that forward to a reasonable degree. Obviously we don't need to go overboard on policy but rules are still very much necessary and in need of constant evaluation.

We do in fact warn them, in the numbers of several hundred per mod per month.
