Well I have been following her since 2008, so I know she doesn't have to use obscene lyrics to convey a strong message or story. There's a lot more powerful ways to do so. Shoving in the N word at the end of every line just comes across as lazy and obnoxious.
It's not even as if she's using the word to seem more powerful, since half of the time she's just saying the word randomly throughout. People have fought for equality, yet the entire hip-hop community still throw the word around like it's an everyday greeting. I get that sometimes it can be used in lyrics to convey something meaningful, but in this song? No.
It's only the Nicki fans that I have seen praising this track. I've seen lots of comments on my FB and Twitter from people disgraced at the fact she's just flinging the word around like it's nobody's business.
I know y'all will just say she's telling 'a story', but clearly there's no need for the abysmal lyrics.
LOL and you STILL have it WRONG!!!!!!!!!!! lol its really funny actually because the USE of the N word in this song is a PLAY on what it HAS become in the black community.
**** too funny.
shes not using it after every sentence because she cant come up with a better word/nothing else. Its because thats what BLACK society TODAY uses to identify them selves at times.

You sound like someone who doesn't understand nor follow rap music and urban culture.
People speaking on things they know not of, or don't understand...
If you don't get it, say you don't get it but don't come in here discrediting the song because of YOUR lack of understanding. It only makes you look even more ignorant than you already are.
Looking like a hater, lol? I've seen her in concert 3 times and met her after the show. I'm not a hater, just appreciate it when she actually releases something good.
And why hitta? Is this just because of that My Hitta remix?
As I said, you just looked like a hater. I didn't mean that you were one.
I respect the opinions of individuals who take the time to express, preferably in a polite manner, why they don't like something!
And, more than likely, yes that's why the word was chosen for the clean version.

Peter has done a 360.
I'm so happy Nicki has people like Peter spread out throughout the entertainment industry. They are so beneficial tbh.
Sorry for listening to music outside of the Nicki Minaj spectrum.
I don't think it's that. I just think it's plausible to say there's a different reaction in the US Urban scene, which is completely understandable. It's in no means a way to disrespect you.
