I Will Always Love You should be number one on a list like this. The ONLY iconic song in the entire top 10

The 24th biggest Hot 100 song, and 3rd biggest love song of all time disagrees.

Mess at My heart will go on not making the list.
Billboard lists like this only show how getting 12232 weeks at number #1 dont make a song bigger and more relevant to pop culture.

I've never seen We Found Love as a love song. More like a club smash

Let's just get real, We Found Love is probably the best love song of the new millennium.
The lyrics themselves are really profound, and the video sort of cemented its status as a legendary song and video.
WFL is just flawless in every way. Sorry that it's better than that Whitney Houston cover.

But it really is. Heartwrenchingly so. Read between the lines.

Is this based solely on Billboard chart performance?

Just because We Found "Love" is there doesn't mean it is actually love song...
I mean, We found love in hopeless place doesn't sound... positive..
