the lyrics were nothing special and she was already re-using flows. the only thing "different" was doing it over house music. I love fantasea but call a spade a spade

That's exactly it! When she stopped being so gay that's probably when I checked out.
She's still pretty gay though. Just not as interesting musically in the beginning.
