The pacing is absolutely crucial to the song's success. The Ghost video is so awkward because the outro has too much energy to completely end the song, especially with the clinking synths that sound like icicles falling off a house.
Haunted's outro is much better to close out the song as a whole.
. And death at Rih being a label puppet when she made Birthday Cake remix agaisnt their label (they refused to support it and put it on itunes, however the 1 minute snippet sold more than any hasbeyn song since 2009)
The songs are definitely weaker when pulled apart, but when they're put together they're sublime.
and death at you thinking any artist under a big label has the power to put everything they wish for on itunes when the money is all spread and we're talking millions
