He's certainly consistent, but his best movie isn't nearly as good as Gravity, or even as good as Children of Men.
I love Finchy, but Cuaron is better. Fincher is Spike Jonze tier.
Well i've not seen Gravity yet (sorry Nicole) not Children of Men (which is supposedly really good) so i can only really judge him on Harry Potter which was aite. Fincher has been apart of a couple of my all-time favorite films (S7n, Fight Club). I guess its personal preference as well, but i feel he's a more well-rounded director/producer than Cuaron but i certainly respect the work they've produced.
I hope you're not subjecting yourself to any Tyler Perry films.

They're both probably the best pieces of contemporary cinema in the 2000s. The Social Network is Fincher's best movie, why isn't it your favorite?
