In 2013, She deserved to be blamed for the stunt. It's partially deserving. But you overrated the hate She received. It's just that 1/3, except that they just went louder. Because She sort of proved their claims before.

Sorry if i'm a little bit late, my netwrok connection is very slow right now and i don't know the reason.
MM thing is a different story, it's not so much related with the hate.The hate is related with changing her image, and as i said, the hate passed the limit that's why she needs this change.
Well for 2013 the people who DGAF also started to dislike Taylor too. And if she deserved this hate like you said, then she has to adjust her image, don't you think ? If she's done anything wrong, then she needs more or less a change. Don't be that conservative, change is good especially if you're popular you always need a change, otherwise people will be bored at the end. The key is when you're changing you should keep some basics, and i believe Taylor's doing this with LP5.
And preferences may differ of course.I'd be happy if she become more relevant here, or in any other places in the world, but what i care the most is; if people stop hating her or not. Because i'm personally very tired of this hate, maybe i'm overrating the hate because she's not popular here comparing her to the US, but really i can't talk with a random person about Taylor Swift, because it's very likely that person doesn't like her and judge you just because you love her. I mean, there are some other artists people also don't like so much (e.g Lady Gaga)but not so much people would judge you just because you like Lady Gaga. Taylor Swift, however, has been categorized in people's minds with the kinds of Justin Bieber,Miley Cyrus etc..

As Red Guard pointed out, she changed the line in Picture To Burn ages ago. If she's OK with that song, then why wouldn't agree to perform it and edit that line, just like she's always done on the Fearless Tour and award shows? And Taylor doesn't read anything negative about her. She says she didn't know about the Lorde thing until Lorde told her what she said about her and says in the Glamour interview that she didn't know what that VS model said about her because she refused to click on the headline. That's why I really doubt she's read a Jezbel article about how ****-shaming her song is and that she's a feminist's nightmare.

Why do you think that is though? People see her as a former teen artist trying to become more popular just like those two. If she didn't work with Max Martin then she wouldn't be discussed and thus her love life and the rumors wouldn't be known there and thus no one would have anything to hate about her.

I believe she does read articles about her, but only the positive ones. She's always stressed on the "I don't Google myself"/"don't read negative stuff about me"/"I do a good deal on being happy" for too long now, for like 2 years, so why shouldn't I believe her? Even Lorde said in an interview that when she sent her flowers and called her, she found out that she didn't know what she'd said about her before that moment. I guess they all must be lying and conspiring against us fans to create a fake image for Taylor.

I understood why feminists gave Fifteen crap but i always thought the "abigail gave everything" line meant that Abigail gave the guy all her effort and time. She also says "in life, you'll do things greater than dating the boy on the football team".

She obviously reads some stuff about herself, but I haven't seen much evidence of it affecting her behaviour. She was still making perceived digs at Harry even though the best thing for her image would have been to pull a nice, sweet attitude to that mess and she still hangs out with Hailee and Lorde despite all that 'she's only friends with teens' ********. Hell, she even dated Harry straight after she was mocked for being with 18 year-old Conor. She didn't make nice with Tina and Amy and try to apologise to them or make sure the GP knew she never slammed them. There are lots of examples of her thumbing her nose at backlash.

How the hell you come up with me not wanting any changes?! If anything, I've always wanted Her to be more adventurous. But NOT when you are completely changing yourself just to sell more. That's utter ********.
She has never done anything wrong other than some PR stunts. So why care about ******** claims? She knows the truth. We knows the truth. That 1/3 will keep hating and making excuses. Even if She became something against their original claims, they would keep find new excuses.

Of course people would lump Her together with Miley & Bieber. She has never released Her well-written songs as singles. The hatred in LP2 era was a little undeserved, only that one I'd agree. Just because She's young doesn't mean She made teeny bopper tunes (which can't be said anymore after LP4). If She actually promoted Her much better written songs, She'd have gotten the respect She deserves. Just look at the ATW @ Scammys' receptions.

I wonder if Taylor is doubting herself or someting. That tweet last night begging us to never leave her... playing "Long Live" today. She is clearly reaching out to fans extra hard for some reason.
I think we should be more supportive and trust her. She will deliver.
