right? Scotty boy needs to slow his role. Not every act on your label needs to be commercial sellouts like FGL.

He said that the chorus of Red needed a lift. If you want me to link you to the interview, I can. He said nothing about song s on Red not being enough. It seems like MM was initially approached for Red, but they did not work on that song. They probably got Dan Huff to do that "lift".

But there's a a limit here. The hate for Taylor Swift really passed that limit. I'm giving Justin Bieber example, becuase she's getting the same hate with him but unlike him, she's done nothing wrong to get that hate. I mean, just mathematically, let's assume at most half of the pıopulation may not like you, that's fine, but if most of the society doesn't like you, than there's a problem here.
You can just check out the twitter during the award shows to see what GP think about her. And i'm guessing you know last year she was in the list of most hated 20 celebs in the US ?
|
Most of the comments on Twitter about celebrities are negative; people trying to be cool by tweeting 'funny' putdowns. I think this base really has to ease up on this 'Taylor is so hated' persecution complex. Every famous person gets hate, we just notice and feel the hate directed at Taylor more because we're stans. It's been said before but Taylor is the most popular American artist right now. Period. Just because haters are loud, doesn't mean they are the majority and even if they were, as long as Taylor has millions of fans willing to buy her albums, it doesn't matter. Haters can't prevent her from being successful - the Red era has been proof of that.

Yes. She loves singing Ours enough that when fans ask her perform it as the secret song, she accepts and doesn't turn them down like she did when several fans asked her to perform Picture To Burn. She turned that one down because she didn't like it. She could've turned that one down too if she didn't like it either.

Also, let me re-iterate my points again on Scammys: it doesn't matter that much. Good if you got nominated and won. And it's fine as well if you don't.
Sales, Popularity, & Awards are not the end all be all.
how well Her career would translate over decades >>>>>> your stan heart/career
EDIT: Of course she'd never play BTR & PTB because public actually came for Ha and the negative stuffs those two songs "promote".

And another thing: where was her love for MM before RED? Why not work with producers like Ryan Adams, who she publicly confessed to loving before? Could he have not given her a needed edge? There are plenty of people she could have gone to to bring diversity into the record, but the one that makes the most hits was chosen.. A tad fishy.

Yeah. She probably still believes in the message and the feeling even if she doesn't feel the same way about John. If she didn't want to perform the song anymore, she wouldn't. See: PTB, BTR.

I'm just going to wait until the album leaks and then I'll decide if I should have a meltdown

And it wouldn't make sense to not sing the 3 most popular songs from RED while on a tour promoting RED. Singing songs has nothing to do with whether she wants to sing them or not, really. It's about what 1) the fans want and 2) what will help her. Funny how PTB and BTR are the songs she's refusing to sing after they are the songs she gets backlash for for homophobia and ****-shaming.. Open your eyes. The music industry is a gigantic game that she's finally succumbed to.

I'm not in love with the idea of her working with Max Martin, but I personally trust her enough to know that she won't release a bad album. You don't trust her artistry that much? Well, that's ok, but I'm not gonna have meltdowns over songwriting and recording sessions that have not even taken place yet.

I'm not a fan of the MM tracks besides Trouble, but Taylor said that her ambition for the Red album was to go global. MM was really the best choice for that. When Scott gave that advice to Taylor, he was right. She initially wanted Red to be the lead single and that was naive - it's the song that sounds most similar to all her past songs that didn't smash and Taylor was fooling herself if she thought it could launch a global career. A song like WANEGBT had much better potential to get the world's attention.
Of course, now that she has a footing in more markets, I think she should move on from him, but I don't think it was a mistake working with him in the first place. The mistake was letting the MM songs dominate the singles choices from Red, IMO.

If you want to talk quality, Ryan Adams is exactly someone She needed to work with.

I'm not here for another "TAYLOR IS GOING HIP-HOP!!!!!!!!!111!!!" mess that turns out to be false in the end. And wait a moment, the bolded part is news to me. Were there any rumors before Red's announcement that she'd worked with MM?
|
Who said does't want? She was forced and She just didn't say anything about it in the making of RED. But now that She's so ****ing hungry for hits..... complete delusional bumpkin.
And you know private messaging exists right?

I'm 99% sure that Taylor is not even aware that she was criticized for ****-shaming on BTR. You're the ones who read too much into everything she does. Taylor doesn't want to perform PTB because she thinks its too immature for her age and BTR because as she said before, "she's over it" (and I also guess that it portrays her as immature too).
As for the bolded part, I did not say that I think she likes the MM tracks because she performs them on tour, I said I think she actually likes the MM tracks because when she performs them on tour, she looks like she's enjoying performing them as much any other song. She doesn't look pissed or like "ughhh i dont wanna do this anymore". I don't think she can keep a facade that she loves the MM tracks for that long unless she actually likes them.

I trust Taylor somewhat. I know she knows how to put out quality material but I also know that she knows what will help her get average pop songs that are huge hits and that 2nd part is really why I'm not here for Max Martin.

She changed the line in PTB years ago, so if you're using her attitude to that song to judge her, then she succumbed/caved in a long time ago. She also gets **** for Fifteen yet has never stopped performing it.

She's a goo performer in over-rehearsed shows. She can make anything believable.
And so you think it's just a coincidence that the only two songs she receives public backlash for are the only two songs she's publicly refused to play?
