DWUW did good outside the US. Very few are doing it globally with an R&B song, let alone without a video

It was barely pushed and it was doing good for its 'push'. The song is such a fresh pop song. I haven't heard a pop song that amazing in a while. It's been months and I can still play it out.

Lol no. She gave it enough promo that it could have taken off if it was a good enough song to smash. A video would have gave it a tiny bump but nothing significant. Some songs are meant to smash, like Dark Horse, and others aren't.
