How was Unapologetic generic in any form? it's not her fault that has soon as she releases an album the other girls start running to the producers she worked with and then release similar songs

I agree.

I don't think she should go for the obvious radio smashes. She has tons of hits, so it wouldn't hurt her if she did something a little unconventional to her usual and risked not having a lot of 'hits'.

Just a few I can think of:
-Mike Will's popularity continued to increase after PIU
-The rate of collaborations with Future also increased after Lov7 Song, especially the "somber love ballad" featuring him by other popstars/R&B Artists.
-Sia was already getting popular but Diamonds made her an instant book for other artists.
-Stay came right at the same time the piano ballad trend really elevated in Spring 2013. It didn't come after where she copied it, but her label knew Stay would be HUGE.

One year of slef searching and artistic re-search with inspiration in fashion, producers and art will let grow, same way in RR...Rihanna is a true artist but she only showed us a small portion of it in that era.

I really think one more year will boost her vision in what she want.
