Because I didn't feel your stale arguments warranted a response, but fine. Dope does not sound awful, it sounds REAL, something Gaga is majorly lacking and I want to see more of. The song is about substance abuse and she doesn't sound sober. It makes sense.


Since I assume most Dope haters are Gypsy stans, I'll point out that to the average listener, Gypsy sounds like Gaga is having a brain aneurysm in the chorus and is screaming out names of countries like it's her damn grocery shopping list.


But perhaps I just have better taste than the average listener

Before Swinefest, I was hoping that "ARTPOP" sounded something like this. Gaga singing "we could, we could belong together", while the robotic voices chant "AR-AR-ART, POP-POP-POP". What kind of flawless?

Don't condescend on me just because English isn't my main language, I try my best to put my thoughts in words people can understand, but as much as you keep telling yourself that the 'raw' vocals on Dope make the song seem real and true to it's theme people are just going to be put off by them vocals ...

to each their own I guess , I'd pick Stache over dope anytime though.

All I know is that it was a bit uncalled for to come for Dope, a professionally recorded song, when I simply pointed out that Stache sounds like she recorded her vocals on a potato
