Why is "the fame" full of songs that are influenced by a lot of genres and easy on the ear ...
while ARTPOP is just a half assed EDM'ish album she should've either done the usual dance pop records, or actually went in for the EDM sound and gave us hard kicking beats with electronic synths and girthy and deep drops ...
I love ARTPOP as it is though , it's just ... forget it.

I understand what you mean.
For me ARTPOP is still a pop album, a bit danicer but I expected a NEW, heavier sound.

I mean let's just take swine as an example, it had so much potential, it's a decent track but could've used so much more, the swinefest version had e so pumped up and desperate to have the HQ studio version because I was digging that build-up and the drop was EPIC , but when I heard the album version the drop is so dry and lacking ... I still love it but I always find myself thinking about what it could've been if it was done right ... that's just talking about 1 song from ARTPOP .
