Billboard is a camp publication. They cater to the pop girls in general for web hits. Believe me when I say realistically, she was NO chance of EVER being in the Superbowl.
1) She's already shared a Superbowl stage
2) She's a national tragedy.
For as "iconic" as her stans praise her meltdown to be, it irreversibly damaged her career in a way that we've never seen for a popstar. Even the ones who committed suicide or overdosed at 27 (Kurt, Amy, etc.) couldn't tarnish their legacy like Britney has.
