I partly agree with that with MM songs, she cannot get that credibility.. But do you think she wants to ? That's the real question IMO. I mean, Madonna ( i know i'm giving these examples but) was never critically acclaimed until Ray Of Light. She's not the ciritics fave artist , but yet she's still a legend. Maybe Taylor also wants that kind of impact. Maybe she thought that despite all the awards she won before and despite all the album sales, she didn't make an impact that she wanted to, I just think that she still has time to make at least another album before she should start to think of this type of credibility.

Actually MM didn't win a Grammy with Kelly because he wasn't in 50% of Breakway/Stronger To receive Pop Album (or any other genre album Grammy) you have to be credited in 50% of the album (Nathan in Fearless, Shane in STDP).

It's not only about selling more IMO, it's also about being popular. I think Taylor's main personal characteristic is ambition, and her main motivation is getting more famous day by day. If she wants to be famous, if she wants to be remembered like a Madoona type of legend, she definitely needs more impact. Longevity & credibility help you to keep your famous status when you get older, but when you're young, you just don't need them and they are not very helpful to make you famous, like Adele, critics generally claim that she's the biggest popstar in the world right now, however for GP, she's just a forgotten figure until she releases her next album. She's not popular, and not more famous compared to her popgirl competitors even if she outsold every one of them..
