It can be really annoying, but it's actually a good thing that so many view Bey as a threat in some way.
She's the only one that fits into virtually all categories of greats -- she's up there in the great performers category, the great singers, she's beautiful, she's a huge in pop culture as well as music, she's had great longevity so she's viable competition with multiple generations of acts so she really gets it from all angles.
Basically stans of female artists of virtually every type see her as competition in some way where most of the other girls are really only high ranking in a couple of areas. They might be great performers, but they're not great vocalists; they might be great vocalists, but they're not great performers; they might be successful as far as sales, but they're not major celebrities; they may be talented, but not beautiful; they may be beautiful, but not very talented; they may have had huge peaks, but not longevity; they may have success, but not the respect and recognition -- the list goes on. Bey is such a complete package and has a lot of things a lot of these stans want badly for their faves so they'll come for her.
Honestly, to have so many feel like she's a threat really isn't a bad problem to have tho.

I wonder if/when she'll release partition. I don't listen to the radio often but when I do it's hot 97 and they always play it
