Wish You Were Here. Epic TRIED to promote it. But all she did was perform it on Rachel Ray and other unpopular shows.
Excuse me? The song may have been unsuccessful, but it was still a smash. And they worked with Taio Cruz, Dr. Luke, Bonnie McKee, all the star makers. Becky G still slayed her verse.
Hold it against me comes to mind, everytime Britney performed it, it decreased on iTunes, so I'm glad she didn't promote Work bitch, it would have flopped harder
ok it was a big radio flop but still platinum in USA, 3x platinum WW, 200 000 000 views on Vevo, one VMA & acclaimed music video, #1 club hit.
And still very popular Beyoncé song. she doesn't need radio to be popular anymore. here in France most people (under 18 Years Old) only know Crazy In Love, Single Ladies, Run The World, Halo & Telephone from her. So the song Impact is here. I think RTW is way more poppular than BTINH which was better played on radio.
it was a top10 hit in most charts it entered and was certified platinum. I guess it was in comparison to the rest of rihs lead singles.
it was a flop in USA everybody knows RUDE BOY came and save the life of Rated R. RRoulette sold like 900k in US (as of 2011). And it was quickly forgotten not only by rihanna standards but even by TOP 10 hits standard.
as I said the peak on charts is not always a good measure of impact. look at Run The World or Eminem's Stan....
