I manage to not dislike the artists themselves for the offensive fans they have on ATRL.

Although if I did dislike someone due to some members of their fanbases, it would probably be Beyoncé and Gaga. I don't want to stereotype because there are a lot of really nice ones too, but I can't stand the pretension and uppityness I often get from some of them.

Beyoncé doesn't even get that much negativity on here. Britney and Gaga both get it far worse.

Anyway, to answer the OP: Stans don't really make me dislike an artist.

Those still have to mature. Metal fans will start to branch out to other genres once they realised that other genres can only be judged by giving it a chance and listening to it.

You would be surprised by the music choice by metal bands and people working in metal. If you are hearing metal all day long, you want to hear something else when you are not at work.

That's my experience too. They cannot be happy for Carrie's success, they have to bash other successful artists too, specifically Taylor Swift and Miranda Lambert and Kelly Clarkson. Kacey has also been getting some negative remarks too. I don't hate Carrie due to this, because she is not responsible for this jealous mindset among the posters on Carriefans.

I've also been getting a little annoyed by some of the hive recently, bringing down other artists and their achievements just to make Bey look better
