Yeah, they can.... "Overrated" refers to someone having a higher opinion of someone or something than what is actually deserved. I'm not saying I don't like Beyoncé, I'm just saying that I think everyone puts her up on a pedestal and act like she is the second coming of Jesus Christ, and she's only a human being. I love her as an artist and it's not her fault that everyone acts this way, and there is no doubt her success and popularity is well-deserved, but her fans need to stop playing the "my fave is better than yours because she's Beyoncé" card. Yes, she's talented. But there are much more talented people out there. Like, look at someone like Kelly Clarkson, who is still hugely successful, but compared to Beyoncé, I mean... Come on. She has a much better voice than Beyoncé's. She can hit more notes and she has a stronger and clearer voice that could fit any song. I love Beyoncé's voice, but I don't think it has the power someone like Kelly Clarkson's has. And it bothers me that most of Beyoncé's fame isn't even because of her music. The general public loves her just because she's Beyoncé and it would be like, a sin to actually criticize her. People need to take a chill pill and stop acting like she's perfect. She's not. She's a human being and the pressure people have put on her to be this perfect, ideal woman for society to follow and look up to is not cool.
