Well, it's not like it was close, it had a 45% lead this week. Nobody really stood a chance at #1 except Passenger, and that was only if they allowed the streams from the Super Bowl.

Nobody really expected Drunk In Love to go #1 anyway, a #2 peak is awesome and much better than predicted.

DIL is POPULAR right now, culturally its even more talked about than DH. Everyone knows it, just like at the time HS was #1 it was the #1 most popular song. Same with wrecking ball. Dope is an exception noone knew about it

However DIL is #7 is sales and doing great on radio. Its streams also show how popular it is. Stop arguing you sound bitter.

I'm simply speculating here when I say that Billboard may have slightly tweaked their formula this week. I think the streaming component now plays a slightly bigger role.

My reasoning for this:

- DIL is not even close to the top 5 on overall radio.
- DIL wasn't in the top 5 on HDS.

Drunk In Love is closer to Dope than any you mentioned, both were propelled mostly due to streaming. I would say Dark Horse is more culturally relevant since it's higher in sales, audio, and streaming. Plus, Dark Horse isn't even at it's peak of relevance since it's already #1 without the music video being released yet...
