The excuse is still there she didn't have a top ten for 3 years that's never gonna go away. But I'm happy for Bey even tho she prob don't care for tha charts
I guess so. But considering she takes sizeable breaks between albums that doesn't really hold up. To put it a different way, she just didn't have a top ten for the 11 month period of the 4 era. It's not that big of a deal.
Fights between Katy Cats and the Hive have been going on since the Katy Cats were trying to prove Katy is more of an album seller with Prism than Beyoncé
Right now, they are the top 2 pop girls with albums (Bey above Katy) and the top 2 with singles (Katy above Bey). No need for fighting
Dark Horse is such a monster though, it doesn't have a video yet and has been #1 on Itunes for at least 2 weeks, still increasing its lead on Happy. I wonder how many weeks it will totalize at #1.

Exactly. She takes time with her releases, and doesn't release the most commercial songs in order to reach #1. I'm surprised even Drunk In Love is charting this high. When BEYONCÉ was released, I was one of the ones saying that she wouldn't score any top 10 hit. But not in a hateful way. Even though I loved the album, it didn't scream "commercial material" to me the way a Rihanna or a Katy Perry song does.
