Lemme tell you this: I don't mind her working with Max Martin if she can produce quality music through these collaborations and Max Martin is not incapable of producing good music. IKYWT is a good song, not a perfect one, but it's not something to call "trash". And I personally trust Taylor's musicality enough to be able to produce good music with him. Yes, 22 and WANEGBT are not masterpieces and definitely have elements of immaturity in them, but still they are not as disastrous as some of you make them out to be.
And I still don't get why you call her "pop star" persona forced. To me, she looks/sounds genuine regardless of what she' singing. When she sings 22, you can tell that she's really enjoying it and that's what she really wants. It doesn't look like she's forcing anything or like "UGH I don't wanna sing those stupid pop songs anymore, where's my guitar?? MEH". And besides, her performances of those pop songs are as good/bad as any of her other live performances.
