Max Martin won Grammys with Kelly Clarkson
Max Martin is not only a bubblegum-pop producer, he even produced Bon Jovi's 1 of biggest hits It's My Life.
Max Martin is not only for artists those who sell singles not albums. Some of the best selling albums of the ealy 2000s (N-SYNC, Britney Spears) was prduced by him. MM produced albums can be huge commercial successes.
And most importantly, Max Martin songs can become global hits. The US people may not understand this, but those who live in the rest of the world (for instance, me, living in Turkey) clearly understand what i mean. Taylor was never popular here in Turkey. until those 3 Max Maritn songs .
MM does actually have a fair range of abilities, Unlike Dr. Luke. Hes produced country, country-pop, pop-rock, bubblegum pop etc. The only thing Im worried about is that for Taylor they're just gonna go for WANEGBT 2.0 or IKYWT 2.0. Not to say he isnt capable of producing something really great I just feel like the MM songs (WANEGBT and 22 mostly) were dumbed down lyric wise.
WANEGBT was supposed to be just a joke and she wasnt even going to release it. 22 was supposed to about about the confusion, loneliness and fear of the unknown at that age, but it just turned into a generic party song.
And Arent there rumors of her looking for a place in Manhattan with Jake
It makes sense for her to have a base in NYC. She can do shows like Letterman and GMA. And she often goes to the Met Gala. She is earning so much that buying property with it can also be an investment, because as a famous celeb her name will likely increase the value of a property.
i hate the fact that lord is working with martin, but like @anticore said, i think most south africans only knew Love Story and YBWM from Lord before red. but since red, WANEGBT, 22, IKYWT was always on the radio, and from that EHC also always went on radio. it's the perfect catch (i don't know about you but i'm feeling) 22
Max Martin is a great producer. As long as she doesn't work with Luke who has been a one trick pony since 2010 it'll be fine. I'd rather have songs more like IKYWT than WANEGOD though.
next album probably still pulling off 3m though unless everyone jumps ship
