this again? she's been on a leash PLENTY, I mean they put her on a leash when shooting the DWUW video and look what happened, we never got it because she deemed the outcome to be crap. They chose DWUW as a single over Venus (which I applaud) but because Gaga wasn't behind that, it underperformed.. In order for anything to work, the label needs to stop UNDERCUTTING her decisions and instead work WITH her & try to get her to see differently & advise her. they need to start working TOGETHER.

It'll be interesting if she does opt to make APII the ying to API's yang. Not sure how she'll pull that off cohesively, but maybe they'll just focus on making hits and rationalise it later.

well she managaed to do it with TF(M) right? Light & dark i mean. So I think it's doable cohesiveness-wise. Although I'm anticipating a much more drastic difference in sound between AP I & 2 than TF & TFM.. I think she can easily rationalize it though by saying how there are many many different facets to Art, which is true. That's the easy part imo, the hard part is the fact that she probs doesn't WANT to do that and wants to continue the AP sound to try to create some sort of sound legacy with this album. Plus it seems she won't be switching up from DJWS (not that he's bad! just not different).
