You aren't understanding.

You cannot sue and win for remixing a song. As long as the song wasn't put up for sale and Nicki didn't profit from it, nothing can happen.

Well here's the issue with what you're saying, they weren't signed artists so she didn't have to contact anyone. Nicki did nothing wrong because it wasn't even put up for sale or for purchase. It was a casual freestyle for fun, just like any other rapper has done before.
