All I could picture in my head when Bruno was on, is how amazing it would have been if Rihanna was performing. Here's to next year.

Which is why I say 2016 would be better. Her performances have improved greatly vocally but aside from the occasional WFL or WHYB performance she hardly dances anymore.

The level I think she's capable of performing at is not something that will happen over night. Im sure she will take it seriously but she needs a little bit more time for improvement.

Sidenote: I just watched Madonna show and she did little choreography but her production was great. SO if Rih's team can pull out all the stops maybe 2015 won't be a stretch

She can deliver greatness in 10minute and she has the ability of doing it BUT it would have to be at the START of an era because
1. She would have all the time to just rehearse and not comprise promo
2. There a clause in the contract that says she can't perform anywhere 3months prior the event.

Which would be good because she could release the single 2-3weeks prior the SuperBowl and give it's first performance at the SuperBowl.

A) Touring
B) R9 release and too busy promoting and everything to properly rehearse

She would actually have less rest than if she does it next year. Like I said doing SuperBowl 2015 would force to release in Summer2015 because of that 3months no performing clause and would have plenty of time to start rehearsal and it wouldn't conflict with the current tour and/or era.

Omg it would be perfect if she released a Greatest Hits right after the Super Bowl. Or debuted a new single

I would actually switch WMN with Umbrella and bring out Jay/Em and Ye.

I think the superbowl in 2015 would be good but I want it to be 2016 because:

1. We dont know WHEN Rihanna is dropping R8.
If R8 drops in the fall (i.e September - December) then she may not start touring the US until like February or so. That wont help ticket sales as the tour would probably already have started or unless she kicks off the tour in Australia or something, which I doubt.

2. The Grammys. If her album drops in late Fall, the album wont be eligible until the 2016 Grammys. What better way to give her a boost at the Grammys than with SuperBowl hype?

3. She will have to space out the era. No more quick singles and stop. Shed have to make sure she released and promote ample singles throughout 2015 to make sure the album still has legs.

That could work but you're going by R8 2015 release I'm going by a possible R8 2014 release.

at us planning which year. Meanwhile they just might ask her to do it next and that could be a once in a lifetime opportunity she might not be asked again.

No. Diamonds is the perfect closing song. Just her alone on stage, the lights dim, the only light is on her face and the eyes from the people watching her and shes singing her heart out staring into the eyes of 100 million Americans. It would be a MOMENT. Umbrella should come early in the performance to keep the viewer interested. Plus, WMN is her favorite song to perform live as she always kill it so we should always strive to end a performance on a high note.

Well exactly if she does release in 2014. She would be coming back from a WW tour and that would be dumb having her perform 3 months later at the SuperBowl.

Beginning of an era coming back from a lenghty break is the smartest way to go.

If R8 does comes out in Spring 2015 then SB15 if it comes out Fall2014 have Rihanna do SB17 before R9.

She's not gonna be singing Dont Stop the Music but the instrumental and beat would be a great backdrop for a quick costume change and a chance for her background dancers and beautiful set to get some shine. And for her to catch her breath to belt "Only God".

Just the fact of having Umbrella/Diamonds closing would be finishing it on a high note. The GP just LOVESSS Umbrella and like you said Diamonds is Diamonds.

- But then that runs the risk of having a wardrobe malfunction if its being ripped off midway.
