Well the problem with Global Queens like Shakira and Rihanna is that a lot of the views come from outside the US and spread around the world. Miley's VMA was huge in the US which is why the streaming alone made it a hit because most of it was inside the states. I think at least 10 million of this views are from the US and that's being optimistic.
