anyways good for her. trans issues need to be talked about more. also anyone making jokes about this aren't funny and should probably be slapped across the face. it's weird how a lot of gay people don't seem to sympathize or even recognize the issues of trans people.

Citation needed. The fact that they are outwardly perceived as the opposite gender is part of the reason people transition in the first pace. I have never heard of or met a trans person who did not attempt to transition their outward appearance to match their identified gender.

A trans man walking into the women's restroom would scare the women in there. It's not like the trans man couldn't just go to the men's restroom and sit down at the toilet in a stall. No one would know. But if he walked in the womens, it would cause an uproar.

To be honest the logic behind saying that when it comes to biological needs like going to the bathroom it's the biological sex that should matter and not the social gender can be discussed. I don't really share that point of view, in fact as a man I really don't care who's in the bathroom at the same time as I am, but as I said I can understand the logic.

I have. A lot of trans women and men feel shafted because they are judged by how "well" they pass, it's actually a problem.

I don't understand why anybody would have an issue with this. First off there are stalls in girls bathrooms so nobody would be looking at anybody else's genitals or even know what's going on down there. And most trans females are straight, so I'd bet this girl isn't interested in other girls and wouldn't be spying on them in the bathroom like some people seem to believe she would be. She physically looks like a girl and identifies as one so why on earth would it make sense for her to go in the men's bathroom? Do you know how frightening and uncomfortable it would be for a teenage girl to be forced to go into a bathroom with a bunch of men who would either sexually harass her or ask her why she is in there? You wouldn't make a cisgendered girl do that so why would you make a transgender girl? Because she was born with the wrong genitalia which wasn't her fault? Bye.

Exactly.

People don't seem to understand that trans people don't have giant labels hanging over them. You can't tell someone is trans by looking at them. You'll just think it's a girl with some masculine features, or vice versa. Who is scrutinizing everyone who enters a public bathroom anyway?

Because the overwhelming majority of trans people undergo physical transition/dressing like the gender they identify with because of society's fixation on outward appearance so that usually isn't a problem.

as in short hair same features, and a vagina I've seen a friend of a friend just that way. She already had very feminine features because she was a megatwink but dassit. I'm not sure if shes post-op yet tho

It's rare, but it happens. Also some people do make physical transitions however still don't like like what their gender is. I know a trans woman (dunno if she plans on transitioning I felt like it's kind of a private issue ) who has a lot of facial hair but dresses in a very feminine way. She's still a woman who deserves to be treated like one

Tbh, I would rather have the person next to me be a well kept hygienic trans person than some nasty stinky pig. Lol. Not that it's a big deal either way, it's just when I'm using a bathroom I would rather share it with someone of good hygiene. Not with someone of the same gender or sex or whatever. I just don't care about that.
