That child is just trying to get rid of his twink image but not only is he killing his chances of having a long career but he's getting no profit from it (by looking at his numbers) unlike Miley. Unless you count media attention as a sort of achievement, cause in that case he's doing pretty good. His arrest got more media attention than anything by Gaga since Summer 2010.
