Perhaps you weren't on ATRL around the time the Super Bowl Half Time Show was being planned but I was. I wasn't checking for her but I do remember the tens of threads about her "Huge New Single Being Premiered" and the "Pepsi Commercial to be aired right after the Performance." It's all specualtion of course, but you're ignorant to believe there wasn't a Beyonce era ready to begin this time last year.

The inauguration incident did literally nothing to her public image, her brand, or her selling power, both in the short run and the long run.

One of the few moments I'm discussing Beyonce, but not coming for her. The backlash was there. The Super Bowl was extremely well timed PR. Unfortunately for the Hive there is music that will never be released from that era because of this.
