I saw an MTV commercial of the VMAs back in 2006 and Rih instantly grabbed my attention. Then Umbrella came up and... yeah, you all know.
I remember watching the video of Just dance sometime in June 2008 when literally no one knew who Gaga was.

Gaga I was listening to a music channel in Jan 09 and heard Just Dance play and I was immediately hooked by her music and image

Kanye I'm really not sure since I've had a conscious awareness of him for ages now but the first effort to get into his music was by listening to MBDTF after seeing how acclaimed it was

Frank was just by going through a phase where I'd listen to random songs I found on the iTunes Charts and I found Thinkin Bout You and became obsessed with that and then Channel Orange for months on end

Then I googled her and fell in love.

I became a Madonna stan when my mother bought me COADF.

I heard SOS, Unfaithful, Umbrella and Pon De Replay on the radio here and there. (wasn't much of a radio person at the time)

But it wasn't until Disturbia I LOVED her. I listened to it all the way from Sacramento to Seattle on a road trip.

Then she released RR and was a casual fan. She came to town on her LGOE tour and I won front row tickets and ever since then she's been my fave.

Nicki - i remember hearing about her in 2010. i listened to some of her songs on youtube and i liked them (this was like right before Super Bass dropped and slayed us all). i didn't really stan though until right after Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded came out because everyone hated her for some reason so i listened to the album and after a couple listens i fell in love with it. then i went into the rest of her discography and started stanning hard.

Lady Gaga - i heard about Just Dance back in 2008 by a friend. i thought her stage name was weird and didn't think anything of her until Poker Face came out and she was slaying. i really hopped on around when TFM came out though. i listened to just her basically from 2009-2011 tbh.

Demi - i heard about her going to rehab and everything and when Skyscraper came out i really liked it. I eventually went in and listened to the rest of Unbroken and i really liked it. i got really more into her when she started leaking Demi last year tho.

Ke$ha - i thought Tik Tok was pretty stupid but her follow up singles got me interested and then i found her Run Devil Run demo and i fell in love with her. my high point of stanning for her was when Warrior came out though.

Selena - i was watching the internet have meltdowns while Stars Dance was leaking. i listened to all of it and i fell in love.

Katy - i remember downloading some of her singles/songs i liked back in 2008. i didn't really see the light until like early 2013 though tbh.
