None of those other eras have been nearly as dire a flop, though. The respective albums all ended up going platinum, whereas ARTPOP is basically done. Not to mention, Gypsy lost all of the 0.08M AI it had this week. It's not a hit in the making (if it were, radio would be responding immediately, but they haven't really picked up anything while letting DWUW plummet harder than Heart Attack)
Whatever they release (if they're smart, though, they won't waste anymore money on single promotion) is pretty much doomed to fail.
I'm losing hope.
And people continue to underestimate Bruno's digital power.
