I think the first big release that will get the pop world interested in 2014 in Nicki. Her next album may be mostly hip hop, but the pop world really pays attention to her (see: Twitter, ATRL, social media in general). People will be talking.
Adele, Rihanna & Taylor will also be big hyped pop moments of this year.
I still find it weird the album opened up with that much when "Be Without You" had just been released. I remember around Sept or Oct of that year, she said that she was releasing a Greatest Hits in December 2005 (she released one in 2006 instead), so BWY was pretty last minute. That was an incredible outcome for Mary.
