Yeah, most people usually don't have an issue with getting premade tracks. Most pop artists make music that way, and it turns out okay. Not sure why it didn't work out with her

But I've always thought Circles was perfect single material. It was a little edgy and a little different with a bit of a rock/reggae vibe but still very pop and catchy. Only issue is the lyrics might be too much for radio

Lotus Intro could have worked too. It's very underrated in terms of its single potential and would definitely fit in now since all the mainstream electronic music on radio lately has a more alternative/electronica slant

I believe if Christina were to release "Lotus" now with her current body and her positive stigma following her.. Some promo here and there with the exception singles being Your Body, JAF, and LTBL in that order... she would smash.

Lotus is a bad album, drop it. There's too much over-singing and strained vocals. The whole idea was not that bad but it's poorly executed on every way you look at it. At least we got two great songs (Lotus & RHKL), a good one (LTBL) and decent ones (YB, BOM & JAF). She needs to stop straining, I don't care if it bothers you I am gonna keep on saying it. It's not pleasant to the ears, GP agrees. She sounds the best when she keeps it cool and simple. JAF could have been her biggest hit in years yet she ruins the song with strained unbearable vocals. The less the better Xtina!

I want to think it was all planned to evidence how girls get censored and shut down by media/society while men can do more/worse and remain unbothered. She shows good stamina.

I don't think the GP really notices or cares about vocals like that. Only pop messageboard people and vocal nazis really get into that. You would be suprised how much the GP still worships Christina's voice no matter what happens. Like you always see the performances that make fans shudder, that the GP worships

I don't think Just A Fool flopped either because of that. It did pretty well given the little airplay it had. If the vocals had really been an issue, I don't think it would have been so reactive

Does that work? The word itself refers to negative connotations associated with the stigmatized thing.
But yeah with the positivity surrounding her, her "new" body, and probably better drive to promote... Lotus might have done decent.

It's really not a bad album. Not her best but the messy era and sales overshadow it. Hell, Bionic was dragged to the pits too until we all appreciate it now.

The network reportedly took exception to all the bare skin--and the part where Aguilera plays with a water hose.

Once we get into the top 100, I promise to make the updates more detailed and elaborate. For now, each song eliminated will just have its average rate and album rank listed.

Lastly, a big thank you to Little X for the wonderful graphics and the few others who helped promote the rate. We ended up with 28 participants.
