chuck berry, ike turner, james brown, and little richard are the pioneers of the genres. there'd be no elvis, beatles, rolling stones, prince, or michael jackson without those 4 men. it's no secret.
anyways, hip hop will eventually go the way of rock and jazz music too.
I know that as a Madonna stan is hard to believe that somebody can stay relevant by being themselves and not jumping in every bandwagon of music that is "trendy" but it can be done, just look @ Linkin Park.
