Rock music is not something blasting through the average black home, I'm sure you know this.
I didn't search for Aerosmith, it found me through other media and Metallica did not. Once a song is big enough it reaches all people thus proving how influential that song or band is, that was my point.
And yes, race is a deciding factor in how music is exposed to people, it always has been.
