That's like saying "Madonna was only the Queen of Pop when she had her first hits, now she since isn't big anymore that means Miley Cyrus is the Queen of Pop".
It's called LEGACY, something you don't get until AFTER a career of longevity.
well Madonna didnt become NOW the queen of pop she has been the last at least 15 years. and when she earned that title she was still very relevant and successful so the title sounded pretty right....!

I'm not even gonna argue with you because that sentence didn't make any sense.
And Mariah & Usher at their peaks were BIGGER than Beyonce / Justin so why are their titles not deserved
But it would be a damn silly lie, to say BEYONCE and Future Sex had more impact than Daydream and Confessions during their times.
Both went Diamond. Both revolutionized R&B. Both are the Best-Selling Female/Male R&B Albums EVER.
To even say Beyonce has passed what Mariah has done, and Timberlake has passed what Usher has done would be an extreme fabrication.
BEYONCE has already had an impact on the whole music industry let alone R&B. And Future Sex has had a larger/longer lasting impact than Confessions. But Mariah and Usher are still successful though.

Mariah has had more impact in R&B, than Beyonce.
Usher has had more impact in R&B, than Justin Timberlake.
Daydream and Music Box are pop albums (especially Music Box) and most of Mariah's hits have been pop. Even though she's more dedicated to R&B in recent years, overall she's more of pop artist
Bey, in the current generation of pop girls, has inspired Adele, Britney, Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, and Nicki Minaj.
Mariah has inspired Ariana Grande.
Usher has inspired Trey Songz?
JT has inspired JB, Chris Brown, Robin Thicke, and Bruno Mars.
I'm not trying to be shady but they've inspired more artists.
Mariah has inspired more than Ariana
And when did Beyonce inspire Britney? Even if Britney complimented her on something lately, Beyonce was obviously not a main inspiration for Britney. They came out the same time

The delusion is real. Naming people that Usher inspired (and has even been named by them) and saying that Justin inspired them is laughable. Please don't embarass yourself..The only person that list Justin as an inspiration is One direction and even that Liam and Zayne claim Usher as their inspiration, hell they always cover his songs. Only ATRL believes that Justin is even Icon, outside here he is a joke especially in R&B community. They actually call him the white Usher, actually that was his name when he first came out
Not new, not of all times or 20 years or whatever your excuse to call them that is.
New: JT & Bey
Past 20 yrs: R. Kelly & Mary J. Blige
Of all time: Ray Charles, James Brown, Marvin Gaye, Little Richard, Prince, MJ, Aretha, Diana Ross, Ruth Brown, Etta James...

J.T. is not even the current King of R&B.
He may do "R&B" but it is not liked/embraced well enough by the R&B community for him to be the KING. Like 95% of his success is from Pop community.
