this exactly. I still love her to death and back but she doesn't have the same fire and drive as she did at one point. I'm positive it would be easy for her to return to that mindset. part of me thinks she gave 150% because she was still emerging as an artist and felt she needed to prove herself and now that she has maybe she doesn't have the same determination. of course now that people are doubting her again I'm hoping she is using it to fuel herself

proved what? 3 #1s singles can not define you forever, neither 2 successful albums. She needs to get her **** together and to prove wrong all the people who think that she is a 2 albums wonder

In that same regard number 1's don't define you forever. And neither does sales. So I'm not REALLY sure where you're going with this because in that same respect there are legends who don't even have number 1s, just talent that was recognized and legacies made from their careers. I think she's proven herself to be a great musician and performer! even if she never has another hit single or smash album, one thing that will always be remembered about her is her live performance skills

It's easy to ignore, but it sort of waters down the free b!tch that used to not give a sh!t what anyone thought and completely destroyed everyone because of it.
