Shakira is enjoying the last of her free time with her family before launching a new era that will keep her busy for at least the next 2 years. Her birthday is next week (which also happens to be Pique's birthday) and she probably just want to have one last hoorah before focusing on the public again. Shakira always delivers.

That's my point exactly though. Everything was pushed out at the right time and not all at once at the beginning of the single's era.

One would think most Shakira fans would be patient, considering we have had to wait 3-4 years in between almost every album. I know we all expected the song to take over the world on names alone, but **** happens. It's still a long time to go for the album to come out, and there's definitively promo planned. Just be patient.

It was announced twice by E!, the network that is airing the Shakira special and premiering the video. They explicitly stated today on Twitter that it had been delayed. He episode was on their TV listings in their own site as well as TV Guide.

I think the problem is they released the single too soon. Shakira has done zero promotion for it and the video has been delayed. She's still finishing up her album so it's obvious they rushed out the lead single before everything else was ready.

Had the song been released when The Voice started and they attached promotion to it then it would have gotten much more attention. I honestly don't think a video can resurrect the song enough to make it a hit.

Either way, CRTFY was a poor choice for a lead single anyways even if it did feature Rihanna imo. She should have stuck with Truth Or Dare as planned.
