This is more Grammys than Katys has with an iTunes boost.
And her album aint selling.
Grammys are unimportant. Unlike Bernie, Katy has a memorable number one in the making sitting at number one on iTunes with a massive increase, and has tons more on her album that will keep it selling. When was Beyst's last semi-memorable single? Single Ladies back in 2008? Poor it.
This would have been the performance of the night if this were 2008. But, as eternally awe-worthy as her rope act physically is, Pink seems to be working the aerialist routine — which viewers recall from the 2009 MTV Awards and 2010 Grammys — well past the sell-by date
How are y'all gonna say the Grammy's don't matter when they got all of the general field categories right? The only arguable one is Best New Artist, and it's not even that arguable tbh (even though Macklemore sucks).

If the Hive are using the past Grammys wins ... why can't Britney stans brag about her albums sales in the past !!
So you have 2 choices :
1- Admit that Britney is bigger than Bey .
2- Admit that Bey was the biggest loser last night .
The R&B and Rap categories are a complete joke and have been forever. They'll almost always just award the biggest star/song/album. Winning those literally means nothing, which is why artists like Alicia, Kanye, Bey, Jay, Eminem, etc have like 15+ each. Edit: and Kanye obviously has spoken out about this and how despite having 21 Grammys (putting him like Top 5), he still feels snubbed.
Winning the pop categories means something, though. Competition is always super tough and the winner is almost always deserving in one way or another.
