yeah now they are all used to her slaying and don't even think or praise her for being able to SING without flaws while doing all that.
But watch them praise Taylor or Katy to heaven just for staying on KEY
I just watched the performance... Nate totally ruined it but Pink did great as always. The try part was really good i think. And the Grammys dont deserve her, why not give ha at least one award?!
I don't think people understand how impressive P!nk's skills really are so I'll try to break them down.
Professional acrobats usually specialise in one discipline, two at most. Over the last 10 years (it's been 10 years since the Try This tour which featured an aerial silks number), P!nk performed aerial silks, aerial net, trapeze, bungee, aerial rope, aerial hammock and two apparatuses that were specifically made for her. That is 8 different disciplines. She also did some hand to hand and acrobatic gymnastics during try and wicked game but we'll focus on the aerial stuff right now.
Professional acrobats usually don't sing during their performances. P!nk does. Do you know who sometimes don't sing during their performances either? Her contemporaries. While they struggle to hold a note while standing still, P!nk delivers flawless vocals while literally performing high level acrobatics. The amount of core strength and breathing control this takes is unbelievable.
P!nk has made a career out of these skills. A career that many could only dream of. So to come for her and say that what she does is boring, even when their faves have a group of dancers perform for them while they lip synch to vocals recorded in 1997 would be a very bad move on their part.
To break down the complaint that she rehashes the same performance over and over again: VMA'S of '09 was trapeze, grammys of '10 was aerial silks/hammock and grammys of '14 was aerial rope. All of them were completely different disciplines with completely different routines. And why wouldn't she repeat the acrobatics? Her fans love it, she's earning millions of dollars because of it and it's clearly something she enjoys doing.
Now that you wrote these, im even more impressed. I don't care about these delusional people, they are too scared to admit even to themselfes that non of their faves could pull off anything like this... I am proud to be her fan
