The DIL performance was amazing. That song isn't meant to have anything elaborate behind it, hence the simplicity of both the video and the performance. It's just her having fun, being sexy & dancing. DIL is all about the vibe &, the good time & the chemistry between her & JAY.

I feel Bey's biggest misstep in this performance was that it was a follow-up to her past appearances, which were all arguably career bests for her, and that's something she didn't seem to take heed to. Even if everything had panned out exactly the way she wanted, it would've only made for a marginally better effort.

It would've made for a better closing spot than it did an opener, in any event.

Craziest part is if Katy or Pink did what Bey did exactly the same I would praise them through the roof.
