You're the one who was like "it's not fair! help me!"...
You're making up rules...no one was feeling uncomfortable till you came and complain about everything you don't like...
Why are making this into a personal attack on me? I never said "help me" or anything of the sort I simply pointed out that a lot of editing was done and then KB HIMSELF stated that it was in fact against the rules and I'd also saw the topic be mentioned before.
I don;t really know why you assumed it was ok in the first place, I don't know about you but whenever I've auditioned for something they never asked for me to do anything other than you sing? Maybe you've had different experiences...

Why didn't you say "lawmak, you are the one who I was referring to".
Anyway...I'm sorry if I sound bitchy..I just received a very bad news..I'm sorry if I offended you in anyway.
Because I was NOT speaking about any other contestant individually! Just about the use of vocal editing in general, which I heard on a lot of the auditions, not just yours.

Alright, but you just made "the cave joke"...I just used some reverb. That's it. That was my one-take performance in my own room...If only I had the dry vocals version of it, still...you'd understand that was not that big deal you're talking about...
The competition is meant to be fun. I don't even know what the **** a reverb is. Hell I thought lawmaks vocals were raw and the only people I know for a fact used some type of effect/editing is Crank_It_Up and that did more harm than good .

I made the cave joke after you called me bitter and then was sarcastic over the subject calling yourself "bad" obviously mocking the fact that I ever mentioned it.
I never made a big deal I just mentioned that purposefully enhancing your performance shouldn't be allowed because that's not what the competition is about. I figured everyone would just agree, didn't realise some people were going to get this bothered by it.
Also, I'm sorry to hear that you've received some bad news

Yeah, I 'm sorry for this discussion, I mean it.
Anyway reverb is like..well..an echo..is, yeah, a vocal editing, but mine was not that much (you didn't even notice/complain)..plus I swear I just made it in less than 20 sec. It's not a "lot of editing" as Karma stated.
He made me feel like I used some autotuned stuff...there's ton of reverber in every pop/rock/jazz/new age/opera/whatever record.
I'm posting some dry vocals so this thing can end and because right now I feel like it wasn't me who entered the top 10..but my reverb.

Just to finish this now, I am obviously aware that reverb is used in recordings but this isn't an album or a single or anything it was an audition for a singing competition and I PERSONALLY don't think those sorts of things should be used for that purpose, I'm sorry if any of my comments made you feel bad about your place in the competition because that was never my intention and as I said I never at any time in the initial comments I made was referring to you or any other contestant personally but speaking about the competition generally, Anyways, I'm sorry

I attempted to record today, and when I started belting in the chorus, my voice got really muffled. Any suggestions?
Try pushing your stomach out and holding it that way while you sing, as if you were imitating a pregnant woman. That's a great way to open your diaphragm and sing comfortably.
