Bless. Though let's discuss how Avril is already halfway down that path (sonically) and should really consider just releasing music like that. AL has a lot of the light-hearted elements that most of Shania's music had - but with a slightly different sound and a far less diverse range of topics. But I could easily see her making a song like Nah! - hence me making that video.

Right? Serve me those country remixes of 4 Real What the Hell and Not Enough.

But yeah she could easily pull off a pop-rock-meets-country sound like Shania did. Especially seeing how she used to listen to that sort of music a lot as a teenager. That LQ recording of Kiss Me still slays me, and now she's been around long enough to nab a proper duet with few established singers to gain some credibility in that genre.
