No documentary is "real", it's only real if the cameras are hidden and they have no idea they're being taped.
But even the contrived parts are honest. Like when she looks into the camera and smirks after her 'frustrated' phone call to Warren, or when she 'disses' Kevin Costner.

Was just watching Meryl Streep her "Inside the Actor's Studio" episode, and like I thought, she really wants / wanted to be a singer. I figured that out when she seemed pressed at Madonna for getting the role of Evita. I bet she's jealous of Princess Anne Hathaway's vocals.
I'm still confused as to how Meryl Streep ever thought she would ever get a role as Eva Perón.
