She re-wrote the lyrics and re-arranged the musical composition for all 3 of those songs, she only sampled parts of the music, not covered. Ala Pitbull style.
Everyone needs to chill, the majority of the top songs have been out for a while and have had exposure. Like counting Stars was performed on season 4 of The Voice, that was back in May 2013.
I think the CRTFY video WILL give us something to remember.

I was lisening to the radio and I changed the station to KISS and as soon as I did I heard a very distinct yodel! They played CRTFY! It just debuted on the IHeartRadio Top 5 and I'm not sure if that's something you vote for or if it's something that's based on requests but the queens are #5.
