Overall the film was dull but her role and acting were amazing as usual.

I'm not saying Meryl wasn't good, but it's just more of the same from the Academy. Thompson deserved it more, remarkable in the movie and I personally found her performance to be more nuanced and skilful than Streep's.

Cate will obviously win, and with good reason. She's brilliant.

I'm so happy Dench got nominated, she's just stunning in Philomena. Unfortunately there isn't quite enough hype for that movie for her to be in with a shout.

Well from the five I would nominate Emma instead of Amy Adams - I love Amy, but she really didn't show anything in AH.
Judi could be a dark horse, but yeah the movie isn't so "popular" and hyped...

The nomination for Sally Hawkins in supporting role, tho.

Yeah, the second half of the movie was boring as F.

It feels like the script and dialogs were written just for Meryl, nobody except her fitted there.

The plot is supposed to be focused on Vernita Green's daughter and her revenge on Black Mamba (Uma).

And the action is supposed to take place 15 years after the first movie...

...so 2003 + 15 = 2018 it is then.
