I don't know where this sudden high regard for her and her every move came from. But I'm glad we're here.
If you look at her career over the past six years, the way she completely rebranded herself is amazing and genius. She did it slowly too.

But she didn't have people writing extensive feminist essays on her, politicians following her travels to Cuba, or the world on the edge about her personal stuff (like her pregnancy and haircut).

The 4 era is seen as a flop but it really did rebrand her as "more than a popstar". Critics used to say she was "good, for a popstar" but now they just say she's good.
