Most of her performances are embarrassing. But I don't think the dancing/singing was the problem this time tho. It's the lighting and steam. It's like it's a rehearsal.

Watch, Beyoncé perform XO, standing still with 10x more stage presence. I agree the song is at an awkward pace, but there is no excuse for that stiffness. Rihanna could do it. She has swag. Katy and Miley don't really get it

I understand why most of her fans wanted this song to be a single but... the live performances aren't helping her. Actually, she's not even the worst singer. Some of her acoustic performances are quite good imo. She just needs to choose the right song and maybe perform an acoustic version

This song was MADE for a live performance. If she had any sort of stage presence. You could tell she felt really awkward doing those dance moves. It's just not her.

I would have been more impressed if she just stood there doing the occasional dance move and she served some above average vocals instead of the awkward choreo. She didn't sound too bad, but... she must do better.

No the song is trappy, it's a very specific sound that's hard to groove to if your not like...****ed up in a club or something. Also hard to choreograph so I get why it looks awful. Katy has had decent energy in performances before.

This is not suprising at all. The thing with Katy is that literally anyone could be Katy Perry if you know what I mean. Give all of her songs to Cassie or Keri Hilson, put them in candy dress, tell to act like you're 14 years old and not almost 30 and voila, there goes your next #1. I love her songs, but there's really no vocal talent or charisma behind it.
